Express Employment is seeking candidates for a Wedding Consultant (Formal Wear Specialist) position in Dubuque, Iowa.

We’re assisting a locally owned formal wear company in hiring a personable, detail-oriented Wedding Consultant to help customers prepare for weddings and other special events. This role is perfect for someone passionate about customer service and making life’s big moments unforgettable.

Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: 30–35 hours/week

• Weekdays: ~10:30 am–7:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am–3:00 pm
• Sunday: 9:00 am–11:00 am
  (Must be available at least two weekends per month)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with brides, grooms, and wedding parties to select and fit formal wear
• Provide exceptional customer service and personalized styling advice
• Place and track customer orders with accuracy
• Maintain detailed and organized records
• Learn and assist with basic alterations and sewing (training provided)
• Support a fast-paced retail and fitting environment

Qualifications:

• Passion for customer service and creating positive experiences
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented setting
• Willingness to learn new skills, including sewing
• Weekend availability as required
