Job Overview

• Perform MIG welding on metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
• Inspect welded components to ensure proper weld quality, appearance, and dimensions
• Identify and correct welding defects, including incomplete welds, porosity, and improper penetration
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and other finishing work as needed
• Maintain welding equipment and report any equipment issues or needed repairs
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet production goals while maintaining consistent quality standards
• Perform other welding and production duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience preferred
• Welding certification is a plus, but not required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely operate welding equipment and related tools
• Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
