Welder

Job Overview

• Perform MIG welding (most common) on steel frames and components 
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings 
• Fabricate, position, and secure structural parts for home chassis and framing 
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely 
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area 
• Follow company safety standards and OSHA guidelines 
• Work with production teams to meet daily/weekly output goals 

• Experience with MIG welding (TIG/Stick is a plus but less common here) 
• Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, square, etc.) 
• Basic blueprint reading skills 
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail 
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods 
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 

• Previous experience in manufacturing or construction welding 
• Certification (AWS or similar) – often preferred but not always required 
• Experience working in a production-line environment
