Welder

Job Overview

• Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on various metals (steel, aluminum, etc.) 
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders 
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently 
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications 
• Grind, cut, and prepare materials prior to welding 
• Maintain welding tools and equipment 
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements 
• Collaborate with production team members to meet deadlines 

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 
• Proven welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting 
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately 
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and OSHA standards 
• Certification (e.g., AWS) is often preferred but not always required 
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity 

• Ability to stand for long periods 
• Lift and move materials (often 25–50 lbs) 
• Work in environments with heat, noise, and fumes (with proper PPE)
