Welder - Robotic

Job Overview

• Program, set up, and operate robotic and manual welding equipment.
• Troubleshoot robotic welding systems, controllers, sensors, tooling, and related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on welding robots and tooling.
• Monitor weld quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency and performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Develop, modify, and optimize robotic welding programs to improve productivity and reduce scrap.
• Safely set up and prepare parts for welding using hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
• Align, position, and fit components into fixtures according to specifications.
• Set up and operate automated welding equipment.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and quality records.
• Ensure all work meets established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, 5S, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and other applicable processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Previous welding experience or completion of a welding trade school program required.
• Successful completion of an in-house welding test required.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.
