Job Overview
As the Workflow Design Specialist, you are responsible for improving the accuracy and efficiency of manual processes by designing, streamlining, and programing Phoenix workflows. Allowing for members to be better served by staff in a timely and personable manor.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality service to members, potential members and coworkers
- Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism in all interactions with coworkers
- Promote a professional image of the credit union at all times
- Design and create business process automation workflows using Phoenix workflow, SQL and XM logic.
- Provides support for workflows created and makes changes within policy guidelines as needed.
- Work with staff on processes and analyze ways that workflow can enhance their experience
- Assist in product rollout and follow-up with employees to determine if workflows are meeting the expectation with that product’s processes.
- Communication with help desk and training teams to make recommendations for staff regarding workflow updates and rollouts.
- Assist in logging and managing cases with Finastra for Phoenix workflow issues
- Answer calls to support, coach and assist employees to provide superior member service and remain aware of front line processes and procedures in order to develop effective workflows
- Meet goals set for the department and the position
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of SQL query writing experience
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
- Ability to write and troubleshoot new and existing SQL queries
- Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
- Knowledge of web services and familiarity with HTTP, REST, JSON
- Excellent written and verbal skills to professionally communicate with staff
- Ability to make sound decisions with a thorough knowledge and understanding in credit union policies and procedures
- Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Confluence and Jira
