Job Description
- Clean and maintain public areas e.g. hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Pick up and remove trash and debris.
- Responsible for property clean up including bio-chemical material.
- Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year cleaning experience preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods for majority of shift.

Job Description
Cook orders in a timely manner according to memorized standard recipes. Monitor food production to ensure that quality standards are met. Maintain inventory of station and order stock.
- Receive and prepare food orders according to memorized standard recipes.
- Coordinate orders for pick-up.
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and storage areas at all times.
- Control waste by monitoring proper rotation, storage, and quantity control.
- Maintain inventory of station and order stock to maintain pars.
- Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
- Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.

Position Summary
The Server will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
This role will pay an hourly rate between $14 to $15.

About the Venue
The Grand River Center is a full-service meeting and event facility located in the heart of downtown Dubuque, Iowa. Newly renovated in 2020, featuring over 80,000+ square feet of meeting and exhibition space for events up to 2,000.
Responsibilities
- Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to banquet guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers.
- Ensures that food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.
- Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill-over.
- Pre-buses tables and full buses tables when necessary during peak periods.
- Maintains availability to work during many peak periods.
- Stocks beverage station(s) when necessary (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc).
- Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests.
- Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
- Communicates with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff in order to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
- Builds and maintains knowledge regarding bar offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred
- Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience.
- Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card and other required compliance trainings.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
Environmental Service Worker
Performs responsible work in cleaning linens and other cloth products, housekeeping and light manual work in the care and cleaning of patient rooms, halls, work areas, office and other facilities.
Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Environmental Services Director.
Examples of Duties
- Cleans, mops, and sanitizes resident rooms, toilets, and baths.
- Cleans windows, windowsills, window treatments, walls, and furniture.
- Performs special cleaning of rooms, disinfects walls, floors and furnishings.
- Cleans nursing stations, halls, lobbies, treatment rooms, recreation areas, lounges, and dining areas.
- Stocks cleaning and linen carts.
- Empties and cleans waste and trash containers.
- Washes, dries, counts, folds, and stores clean linens and clothes.
- Delivers clean linens and clothes to various departments and floors, and ensures the proper amount of linens are delivered by established times.
- May operate mending, sewing, and marking equipment.

Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Nursing Department Management Staff.
Supervision is exercised over certified nursing assistants, restorative nursing assistants, nursing assistant transporters, ward clerks, certified medication aides, and program instructors.
Examples of Duties
- Reviews prior shift records, reviews treatment and medication instructions.
