Marketing Leader - Dubuque Hunting Manufacturer  

XOP – Xtreme Outdoor Products, is a manufacturer of tree stands, climbing sticks, and packs for bow and gun hunters.  The business has grown exponentially over the last five years with a significant amount of direct to consumer (hunters) and direct to customer (retailers – hunting shops) sales.    

The successful candidate will be responsible for direct to consumer marketing through social media and the XOP website, spearheading consumer shows, and working closely with brand ambassadors and retailers to grow the brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and post on all social media platforms regularly:
  • Instagram
  • Youtube
  • Facebook
• Actively engage with consumers online, through email and phone
• Be active on key online forums
• Keep existing XOP site current and active
• Develop flyers, catalogs and POP signage as needed
• Organize and attend consumer and trade shows
• Work with retailers to provide timely support and order entry
• Be a part of the new product development process

Qualifications

• Marketing background essential
• Social media savvy
• Hunting experience a big plus
• Willing to travel once a month
• Drive to make others happy and satisfaction from doing so

Education and /or Experience

• 2-5 years marketing experience and/or education
• Strong organization and attention to detail are essential
• Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
