Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 to 2 years experience in a clinic or hospital setting required
•  Knowledge of basic office procedures, equipment and computer systems
• Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience desirable

Work Hours

We are seeking two full-time (40 hours/week) Referral Advocates to work days, Monday-Friday.

Job Summary

The Referral Advocate will assist with various patient duties including: prior authorizations of surgeries and radiology as well as referrals as well as contacting the insurance company either via phone or the website and/or patient regarding those authorizations, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinic Operations.
