Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Six months to one year experience with customer relations required
- Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems required
- Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
Work Hours
- We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/ week) Patient Access Representative to work afternoons/evenings in our Emergency Department. Includes weekend and holiday rotation.
- We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Patient Access Representative to work days in our Specialty Clinic.
- We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Patient Access Representative to work days in our Orthopedic Clinic.
- We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) Patient Access Representative to work days in our Kieler Clinic. Shifts are as follows:
Week 1: Monday- Wednesday- 6:30am- 7:00pm
Week 2: Thursday- Friday- 6:30am- 7:00pm, Saturday- 7:30am- 1:00pm
Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Patient Access Representative are to arrange for efficient and orderly registration of Emergency, Inpatients and Outpatients. A patient access representative ensures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. These duties will be performed in a “Customer oriented” professional manner
