Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Six months to one year experience with customer relations required
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems required
  • Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience preferred
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Work Hours

-We are seeking a full-time (36hr/ week) Patient Access Representative to work in our Kieler Clinic. Shifts are scheduled between the hours of 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM. Includes an every other weekend rotation.
-We are seeking a full-time (40hr/ week) Patient Access Representative to support our Specialty Clinic. This position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and is based in our Call Center.

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Patient Access Representative are to arrange for efficient and orderly registration of Emergency, Inpatients and Outpatients. A patient access representative ensures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. These duties will be performed in a ΓÇ£Customer orientedΓÇ¥ professional manner
