Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and have a valid Wisconsin registered nurse license.
  • Must have knowledge of and understands the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and RN scope of Practice.
  • At least three years’ experience in respective department is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or able to complete immediately after hire.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures, specialized equipment, and computer systems preferred.

Work Hours

We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) RN to work week days between the hours of 7:30am-4:00pm.

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Navigator serves as the primary clinical point of contact for Southwest Health (SWH) oncology patients. This role provides patient-centered care coordination across the continuum of cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up. The Nurse Navigator collaborates with providers, care teams, and ancillary services to reduce barriers to care, improve treatment adherence, enhance patient understanding, and optimize clinical outcomes.
