Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent required
  • Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire.

Work Hours

  1. We are seeking a full-time (40 hour/ week) Surgery/ Anesthesia Aide to work Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm.

Job Summary

The Surgery Aide will be responsible general room stocking, including ordering supplies, stocking into storage and into rooms, checking out dates, and assisting other staff with non-nursing tasks including but not limited to assisting with room turnover. Assists as time allows with anesthesia supplies.  Works under the direction of the Surgical Director and/or leads.
