Position Summary
The Tumbler Operator is responsible for operating tumbling equipment to deburr, clean, and finish metal stampings according to company quality standards. This role ensures parts meet customer specifications while maintaining safety and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload metal parts into tumbling machines.
  • Operate vibratory or barrel tumblers to remove burrs and sharp edges from stamped parts.
  • Add and monitor proper media, compounds, and water levels.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Separate parts from tumbling media after processing.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tumbling equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Work closely with supervisors and quality control personnel.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred (metal stamping experience a plus).
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of quality inspection tools and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To actively research, resolve, and administer escalated inquires for all lines of business including but not limited to FMLA, Accommodations, and disability claims; and to execute technical and jurisdictional requirements for accurate claims processing, benefit review and interpretation of regulations, financial payment processing, and error correction of complex or high exposure claims. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes and authorizes claims and determines benefits due pursuant to a plan.
  • Enters and adjusts payments and evaluates file interface to support payment research and resolution.
  • Communicates clearly with claimant and client on all aspects of the claims process including: claim approval, decision authority level to move the call forward, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitates claim resolution with claimant, human resources managers, treating physician’s office, client, or other callers.
  • Ensures claims files are coded correctly and that adequate documentation is in the claim.
  • Reviews and analyzes complex medical information (i.e. diagnostic tests, office notes, operative reports, etc.) to determine if the claimant is disabled as defined by the disability plan and take all necessary action to manage claims process to completion.     
  • Informs claimants and client of documentation required to process claims, required timeframes, payment information and claims status.     
  • Determines benefits due, makes timely claims payments/approvals and adjustments for workers compensation, Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), and other disability offsets.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience
Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required to include two (2) years of disability claims experience. Experience with TAMS, Juris, SMART, SIR, viaOne express, GAIN, or other HR system preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of ERISA regulations, FMLA, ADAAA, disability procedures and basic clinical terminology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

BEAM MACHINE OPERATOR 3 2ND SHIFT

Summary:

Summary: A person in the position reports to an area supervisor, who reports to the Manufacturing ClearSpan Manager or Weld Manager. Machine Operator 3 is responsible for planning and producing a variety of machines parts or components and the operations of those machines with minimal supervision to meet ship dates. This person will pick programs on the machines to produce simple parts meeting print specification. This is safety sensitive position because this individual could be operating forklifts or combi’s, operating CNC machines, jigs, fixtures, tube benders, drill presses, saws, punch press, grinders, belt sanders, robotic welders, shears, milling machines and several other power and hand tools. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet all of the criteria as a Machine Operator 1 and 2.
  • Produce machined and constructed items by programming, setting and operating a computer numerically controlled machine.
  • Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces and machining parameters. Must have an understanding of principals of tolerances.
  • Produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating CNC machines maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to make slight modifications to the programs for at least one of the machines.
  • Keep accurate records in E10 and other areas.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds and tool life.
  • Set-up and program prove-outs and optimizing programs for simple parts.
  • Program mills, plasma by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches; calculating requirements including basic math.
  • Value self-leadership by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root-cause of a quality related issue in a systematic fashion.
  • Ability to program machines to produce simple parts meeting print specifications.
  • Be willing to teach co-workers whether formal and informal training.
  • Make recommendations on fixtures that increase productivity, repeatability or quality of parts produced.
  • Maintain specifications by observing machine operations, troubleshooting processes and adjusting and reprogramming controls.
  • Change fixtures out as necessary on the machines.
  • Read and understand blueprints and other shop specifications/drawings.
  • Load and unload material and set up machines for standard and for special production runs.
  • Accurately use micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring devices.
  • Promote ESAPCO and build a positive team environment with co-workers.
  • Clean and maintain area and floor space containing the machines.
  • Adhere to all safety and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
