Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. This role supports production by minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repairs in a timely manner
  • Maintain and repair conveyors, presses, CNC equipment, welders, and other manufacturing machinery

Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and basic PLCs
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with welding, fabrication, or machining is a plus
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems

Cycle Counter

Inventory Control Clerk
WAGE: $17/HOUR
LOCATION: FREEPORT, IL
HOURS: 6AM – 230PM
 
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy in the warehouse by performing routine cycle counts of primary, reserve, and special pick locations. This role investigates inventory discrepancies and works with warehouse operations to implement corrective actions and improve processes. (Examples of this role in other companies: cycle count job descriptions from similar warehouse operations.)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct scheduled cycle-counts of inventory locations (primary pick, reserve, emergency pick locations). 
  • Compare physical counts with system records (WMS/ERP) and document discrepancies. 
  • Investigate root causes of variances (e.g., misplaced items, data entry errors, missing labels) and collaborate with warehouse/operations teams to resolve. 
  • Assist with SKU slotting and re-slotting to maintain optimal inventory flow and accuracy (sometimes required). 
  • Use handheld scanners, RF equipment or other warehouse systems to record counts and manipulate inventory locations.
  • Support periodic full physical inventories or audit activities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all safety rules in the warehouse environment. 
  • Produce daily/weekly reports on count results, discrepancies, and corrective action status (depending on company size).
  • Collaborate with other departments (receiving, put-away, operations) to ensure inventory integrity.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Previous warehouse, inventory control or cycle count experience preferred (1+ years typical). 
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel) and familiarity with warehouse/inventory systems (WMS/ERP) preferred. 
  •  Must have the ability to operate a forklift , pallet jack , cherry picker and other warehouse equipment or be willing and able to become certified.
  • Ability to lift up to ~40-70 lbs occasionally, walk/stand for long periods, bend, reach, push/pull carts. 
  • Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to work shift hours, possibly weekends or overtime during peak inventory periods or holidays.

Your Responsibilities

As a Embedded Software Engineer for Earthmoving Embedded Software located in Dubuque, IA, you will become a contributing member of a software engineering team, focused on the development of embedded software applications for earthmoving equipment.   In addition, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug software components used for electronically controlled systems on various earthmoving products, while complying with a defined development process and coding standards
