Portzen Construction is seeking full-time Truck Drivers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive dump truck hauling material from various locations to job sites
  • Occasional light labor work outside of the truck (lifting 25-50 lbs.)

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited school of nursing

Job Summary

Administers nursing care to designated ambulatory specialty patients in a clinic setting in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and supervision of a licensed physician, physician’s assistant, and/or nurse practitioner. Performs a variety of direct patient care duties in compliance with physicians’ orders and appropriate protocol. Performs a variety of indirect patient care duties under the supervision of the Clinic Manager or Director. Reviews and prepares clinical records prior to clinic dates to ensure referring physicians’ notes and corresponding reports are available for the reference by the specialist.

  2. Prepares the patient for exams and/or procedures, provides patient education related to planned procedures, and ensures necessary consents are obtained.
  3. Assists physician / provider with examination, treatment and designated procedures performed in the Clinic, including but not limited to cystoscopies, allergy testing, EMG’s, catheter changes, etc.
  4. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of clinic equipment as appropriate.
  5. Verifies that patient care areas of procedural/outpatient clinic have been cleaned and stocked and equipment returned to appropriate areas following completion of clinics/procedures.
  6. Provides direct patient care including transferring patients between bed, chairs, and transfer devices.
  7. Performs all required paperwork and communicate with patient care staff, patient, and families via computer and communication devices.
  8. Prepares and sets up or removes all ancillary equipment including retrieving and storing supplies as indicated.
  9. Provides patient care in urgent/emergent situations.
  10. Performs CPR on patients during code before arrival of additional team members.
  11. Encourages and educates clinical staff regarding adherence to the standards of rooming the patients and expectations set forth by the department.
  12. Work in collaboration with other UWMF Regional Services staff in various locations, which may include reimbursed travel.
  13. Adheres to Southwest Health’s value-based behavior standards.

  • Identifies learning needs and develops individualized measures to meet them.

Education:
