RESPONSIBLITIES:

A press operator works with machines such as stamping presses, hydraulic presses, and punch presses to shape or cut metal parts. Their tasks include:

  • Operating presses to produce metal parts according to specifications.

  • Feeding raw materials (sheets or coils) into the machine.

  • Monitoring production for quality issues (burrs, defects, etc.).

  • Adjusting machine settings as needed (pressure, stroke, speed).

  • Performing basic maintenance and tool changes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to bend, stoop and stand entire shift
  • Machine operation experience along with setting dies
  • Safety and qualify focus a must

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and develop verification plans for electrical components, sub-systems, & systems.
  • Execute test or analysis plans for product verification and validation.

As a Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you will provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally competent care for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions. Through evidence-based practice, utilizes critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcome-based care. The Acute Care RN manages a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity, including post-operative, medical, telemetry, and neurologic patients. Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and other nursing team members. Facilitates communication with physicians, patients and families, and interdisciplinary team members. Adheres to MercyOne’s performance expectations and upholds the Mission, Vision, and Values of MercyOne.

Essential Functions:

  • Conducts assessment

  • Identifies patient problems and develops plan of care

  • Implements outcome/goal – based plan of care

  • Evaluates patient progress and revises the outcome/goal – based plan as needed

  • Communicates relevant clinical information to the team to optimize patient outcomes/goals

  • Demonstrates clinical competence

  • Manages telemetry and cardiac monitoring when applicable

  • Provides care appropriate to the age-related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit

  • Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures

  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in nursing required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Possession of a current or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities

  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire

NP/PA – Family Medicine – Dubuque, IA

Description

Medical Associates Clinic, located in Dubuque, Iowa, is seeking a PA or ARNP to join the Family Medicine department!

  • Our primary care providers treat patients for chronic and acute disease processes as well as promote and participate in wellness through physicals, health screenings, and vaccinations.
  • Family Medicine is located at both of our Dubuque locations.  This role would be located on our east campus.
  • As part of a multispecialty clinic, we utilize a shared EHR system across the organization that allows for continuity of care among our primary care and specialty departments.  It also allows for fast and easy communication with our providers and staff across our many departments.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing direct medical care under the direction of supervising physician(s) including but not limited to:

  • obtaining histories and vitals
  • performing physical and Medicare Wellness exams
  • ordering and interpreting appropriate lab and radiology studies
  • establishing diagnosis
  • initiating treatment plan
  • managing chronic diseases
  • promoting and ordering vaccination
  • providing patient education to promote wellness and support disease management processes
Full-time providers will be eligible for a benefits package including:

Experience:  Three to five years of similar or related experience preferred. Experience strongly preferred.
