Utility Production – Night Shift

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 Fills in for the employees during breaks and any type of absence while maintaining the continuing quality of the plant operations.

 Fully operate all necessary equipment in assigned area.

 Record downtime, can loss, lot numbers, record temperature, and any other report document.

 Ensure all areas are cleaned to standard.

 Perform weekly sanitation.

Gravy Maker – D Shift

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Prepare batches of gravy dry mixes, and/or super-micros for the kitchen per the approved formulas for the production run.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Read and accurately interpret batching sheets and other production documents to determine the order and quantity of ingredients. Batching sheets will also contain references to super-micros that are pre-weighed by Quality Assurance personnel. These must be added to complete batching requirements.

Stage ingredients to be batched.

Clean totes to contain the batches.

Write accurately to record production-related data including but not limited to recording lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient on batch sheets, recording batching date code on gravy tags, recording plan # for which gravy is intended.

Ensure each ingredient bag is inspected as it is being dumped checking for the condition of the bag, foreign material, grain lumps, off-color, off odor, infestation, or expired materials

Perform batching, weighing each ingredient per gravy card into a tote, labeling tote, and staging tote.

Ensure gravies are batched 10–12 hours ahead according to the production schedule

The operator will need to physically move bags of ingredients and totes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Conduct general cleaning of the area including maintenance of gravy room, filtration system and dry ingredient area in a clean and orderly fashion. All totes shall be vacuumed or wiped clean prior to batching gravies. Cover unused ingredients to prevent contamination and tape opened bags shut, dating and initialing each one.

Participates as a member of the Team. Simo Kitchen – Night Shift

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 Follow the order of the schedule and call for batches from the meat room, as required.

 Weigh all ingredients and record weight before batching.

 Record lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient used.

 Kitchen operator is a final check for Q.C and supervisor- must notify Q.C and supervisor of anything unusual; i.e. batch too thick, too thin, off-color, off odor.

 Follow formula guidelines, which are listed, on each batch sheet.

 Record batching information for each batch made on formula kitchen sheets. These include gravy weight, water level, water temp, tri-blender R.P.M.’s final batch weight, fill temps and additives.

 Clean and sanitize entire kitchen during can size changeovers or when notified by Supervisor.

 Follow rinse procedures for cleaning the emulsifier and tanks 1, 2, & 3.

 Regulate the dropping temperature, as required. Follow batch sheet guidelines or Supervisor instructions.

Meatroom Operator – Days

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Safely grind meats for use in various formulas. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Check that grinders are assembled. Prepare meats on meat table in order thrown. Ensure that proper meats are batched for each formula and weight specification by selecting the proper meats for the formula and conveying them to the grinders. Push meats onto conveyors as indicated by each product formula. Inspect meat blocks for foreign material, spoilage, off odor, green meat and/or excess denaturing. Reverse plate and change knives. Wash down floor and equipment between batches. Shovel scrap meat from floor to scrap totes with drainage holes. Clean and stack empty pallets neatly for removal to the designated area. Run the fresh meats side of the meat room. Perform weekly sanitation. Participates as a member of the Team. Shipper Receiver – Nights

 ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The operator is responsible for storing and retrieving goods in the storage area of the workplace. Rotates stock so oldest materials are used first. Notes and reports any damaged cartons, crates or containers. Records items added or removed from inventory.

Prepares products for shipment by retrieving the designated product and ensuring it is properly loaded and sealed correctly.

Stores product by using an industrial forklift and uses a handheld scan gun/RFGEN for lot tracking to maintain accurate inventory. Working from written or verbal instructions by operating a forklift to pick up, move, load and unload product on, or from trailers while meeting department, facility, company, and regulatory guidelines.

 Performs minor service of equipment and completes written daily safety inspections. Identifies and reports noted problems to supervisor for further inspection and repair.

 Responsible for changing batteries or fuel bottles, refueling forklift or troubleshooting repairs as needed.

 Maintains the work area, dock and equipment in a clean and orderly condition adhere to storage design principles, and recommends improvement.

 Creates product labels for inventory purposes. Reads and understands lot numbers, expiration dates, ingredient lists, and production schedules. Completes various reports daily and enters the required information into the computer program efficiently and timely.

 Responsible for using basic tools such as wrenches, tape measures, scales, air, and water hoses. Consolidates partial pallets as directed by productions supervisor.

 The operator must be able to maneuver forklift in tight spaces while maintaining a safe work zone for other drivers and team members.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This position is responsible for the implementation of the short and long-term product strategies for specific Rite Hite product lines and/or categories.  As a direct report to the Product Management Leader, the Product Manager will provide insight and feedback to help develop strategic plans and will support the development and execution of product marketing/media plans. Product Roadmap

  • Execute and maintain a 3+ year product/category roadmap for specified products in the company portfolio.
  • Define product requirements incorporating customer and market insights from sales, service, and marketing.

Product Lifecycle

  • Execute new product introductions through the product life cycle.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or similar required.
