Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of diesel repair & diagnose
  • Understanding of the driveline, components & repair
  • Certified in a/c repair
  • Diagnose & repair air brake systems
  • Diagnose & repair electrical systems
  • Perform Annual Inspections on semi tractors & trailers
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tractors & trailers

Requirements:

  • Be able to obtain a Class A CDL (will train)
  • MUST have experience with heavy duty equipment
  • Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Must be able to read and write English

Our hard-working team is in need of a Class A CDL Transport Driver in Cedar Rapids. Hours are defined and flexibility to work Saturdays with one day off per week required. Guaranteed 8 hours per day!

A successful candidate will work independently and be a quick learner. Responsibilities include a pre-trip inspection of truck/trailer combination. Deliveries may include boxes, cases or 80-gallon carts. Dock or hoist deliveries will depend on the route. All paperwork must be completed and returned at the end of the route.

In return, we offer medical, vision, dental, paid time off and company provided uniforms.

Starting pay is $26.77/hr for 90-day probationary period. After successful completion of 90-day probationary period, rate will increase to $27.77/hr.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a Class A CDL license with air brake and manual transmission endorsements
  • Must have high school diploma/GED and clean driving record
  • Experience with customer service
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

Plant Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting packaging equipment in conformance to specifications, safety, sanitation, and quality requirements.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Plant maintenance experience or equivalent technical training.
  • Strong electrical experience along with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • PLC experience is a plus.
  • Must have math and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
  • Must possess High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

Payroll & Tax Specialist

Job Summary: The Payroll & Tax Specialist will be responsible for our organization, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and a thorough understanding of payroll procedures.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Process and reconcile weekly payroll for employees accurately and on time.  
  • Validate timesheets, attendance records, and other entries for completeness and accuracy.  
  • Audit employee changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.  
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.  
  • Reconcile and approve payroll tax filings, including but not limited to withholding taxes, unemployment taxes, and W-2 forms.  
  • Reconcile payroll liabilities and resolve any discrepancies. 
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports to management, providing insights into payroll costs, trends, and variances. 
  • Respond to employee and leadership inquiries in a timely and professional manner.  
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.  
  • Stay up to date on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.  
  • Stay up to date with changes in our HRIS system that affect payroll and taxes. 
  • Audit HR platform to ensure accuracy.  
  • Collaborate with teams and leadership on payroll enhancements requested. 

Experience Needed:

  • 2-4 years in payroll processing and tax compliance
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) Preferred

IT & Building Systems Coordinator

Employment Status: Part-time hourly (25-28 hours/week)

Job Summary

The IT and Building Systems Coordinator does a broad range of tasks related to all computer/network and many building systems at the church. They frequently work with people to coordinate various projects to install or replace new systems and should possess the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and learn new computer, software, electronic systems. The role is a combination of week-to-week maintenance of systems and miscellaneous projects. Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to handle multiple projects at once is key to success in this role.

 

Essential Duties

Information Technology Systems & Devices

  • Manage and maintain the network throughout the building to ensure security, reliability, and accessibility.
  • Manage and maintain the phone system.
  • Set up personal computer hardware and software for employees and assist them with any problems they have with functionality. Maintain an inventory of all computers and assist Executive Pastor with replacement planning and budgeting annually.
  • Manage and maintain the building key card entry system to ensure it continues to function properly, key cards are tracked by who has each card and they are retrieved or shut off when a person no longer needs access to the building
  • Maintain Google Suite accounts and license and assign email address and accounts to employees.
  • Maintain the check-in computers and printers, including label inventory.
