Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Must obtain BSN within 3 years of starting role) or Graduate of an accredited radiologic science program that is recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Certification/License:

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa or ARRT / permit to practice licensure in the State of Iowa or compact state
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire
  • Must possess and maintain current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or within 1 year from date of hire

Shipper Receiver – Days

 ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The operator is responsible for storing and retrieving goods in the storage area of the workplace. Rotates stock so oldest materials are used first. Notes and reports any damaged cartons, crates or containers. Records items added or removed from inventory.

Prepares products for shipment by retrieving the designated product and ensuring it is properly loaded and sealed correctly.

Stores product by using an industrial forklift and uses a handheld scan gun/RFGEN for lot tracking to maintain accurate inventory. Working from written or verbal instructions by operating a forklift to pick up, move, load and unload product on, or from trailers while meeting department, facility, company, and regulatory guidelines.

 Performs minor service of equipment and completes written daily safety inspections. Identifies and reports noted problems to supervisor for further inspection and repair.

 Responsible for changing batteries or fuel bottles, refueling forklift or troubleshooting repairs as needed.

 Maintains the work area, dock and equipment in a clean and orderly condition adhere to storage design principles, and recommends improvement.

 Creates product labels for inventory purposes. Reads and understands lot numbers, expiration dates, ingredient lists, and production schedules. Completes various reports daily and enters the required information into the computer program efficiently and timely.

 Responsible for using basic tools such as wrenches, tape measures, scales, air, and water hoses. Consolidates partial pallets as directed by productions supervisor.

 The operator must be able to maneuver forklift in tight spaces while maintaining a safe work zone for other drivers and team members.

 Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforces actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

 Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons’ established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position’s role in support of these systems – including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

 Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives: This position description is intended to guide the activities of the Shipper/Receiver and is not intended to limit the thinking and creativity of the person to the work of this function nor is it intended that this describes all the work that may be required of the person in this position.

 Physical Activities: Must be able to climb on and off of the forklift; must be able to back fork-lift up safely which requires turning neck and body in the opposite direction. Must be able to lift and stack up to 75 lbs from floor to crown, will be required to work in extreme temperatures both hot and cold, wet, dry, dusty environment. Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time, lift up to 75 pounds multiple times daily, work in temperature extremes.

 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety Glasses, Rubber Gloves, Rubber boots, Rubber Apron, Hearing Protection, and any other PPE as required in the appropriate area.

 Technical Experience: Knowledge of Julian calendar, FIFO practices, preferred experience in shipping and receiving, working with large moving equipment. Basic computer literacy. Knowledge of military time, RFGEN and JDE.

 Industry Experience: Shipping and receiving knowledge preferred.

 Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Perform basic math. Must be able to obtain and maintain company issued forklift license. Must be able to read, write and understand English

Clinical Account Manager

Position Overview:  

The Clinical Account Manager will support all clinical aspects of the business by working directly with patients, medical professionals, plan sponsors and the other members of the MedOne team under the direction of the VP of Clinical Services.

  • Coordinates and manages the clinical relationships between MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions and our clients

  • Works in collaboration with Account Executives to support client presentations, with a focus on optimizing the drug mix, clinical improvement recommendations and cost containment strategies 
  • Responsible for review and signoff on specialty drug and appeal reviews for assigned clients 
  • Responsible for communicating specialty drug approvals, with an emphasis on the appropriateness and necessity of therapy, duration, and cost of treatment, and expected and actualized patient outcomes for assigned clients 
  • Responsible for communicating patient and financial impact and outcomes for adverse determinations for assigned clients 
  • Provides exceptional clinical consultation and clinical account management with a focus on attempting to exceed client expectations to maximize client retention 
  • Effectively communicates formulary and clinical program changes to client 
  • Assists in managing and conducting the clinical review/prior authorization process, including communicating clinical rationale, formulary therapeutic alternatives, and appeals process to members 
  • Performs duties related to drug utilization review including concurrent, retrospective, and prospective components 
  • Supports Member Advocate and Account Management teams with phone calls from patients requiring pharmacist intervention and in-person meetings with clients 
  • Interfaces with physicians, pharmacists, and pharmacy providers on behalf of patients and clients 
  • Creates and maintains, as subject matter expert, clinical content for new and existing MedOne programs 
  • Assists the VP of Clinical Services, in addition to other MedOne team members with general business operations related to clinical functions
  • Portrays the company in a positive image 
  • Abides by all rules, regulations, and policies of the employer 
  • Supports in furthering the profession of pharmacy through participation in the MedOne Student Internship Program

What You Will Bring to MedOne:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD with current unrestricted licensure as a pharmacist
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a client facing or consultative role within the managed care or PBM setting 
  • Must be a strong communicator with the ability to translate clinical information into a manner appropriate for both clinical and non-clinical audiences 
  • High degree of emphasis on problem-solving skills, including identifying and accepting a challenging situation and creating and implementing a solution 
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on attention to detail 
  • Proficient in drug literature and clinical trial evaluation 
  • Ability to work with a team 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Medical Associates Clinic is looking for a full-time RN to join their experienced Musculoskeletal departments to provide triage support to the team. 

In this role you will:

  • Help bridge communication and appointment scheduling between patients, primary care, orthopedics, podiatry, physical medicine and physical therapy.
  • Follow selected algorithms to help determine the most appropriate care pathway and service efficiency.

Schedule: Primary schedule is 5 days per week between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the providers within the department 
  • Collect pertinent patient health care data, diagnostic testing, treatments, and review medical records and confer with physician/mid-level providers to ensure patient needs are met. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

BEAM PAINT & PREP WORKER – 1ST SHIFT

Summary The person in this position reports to the Manufacturing Fabrication Manager, and is responsible for cleaning and/or painting manufactured parts, loading and/or unloading the carousel as necessary, and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Move material from storage locations to/from cleaning or painting stations for cleaning or other production operations.

 

Clean items according to specific part requirements. This includes removal of oil, grease welding impurities, slag, etc. to allow paint to adhere sufficiently. Move completed items from the carousel line or paint booth to storage locations as necessary.

Paint items according to specific part requirements. Move items to/from the paint location, then touchup if necessary.

Perform other tasks as assigned.
