The School Education Group, a division of McGraw-Hill Education and the leading provider of print and digital educational materials for Grades PreK-12, is looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to process requests for the Sales Field.

 

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Create quotes, samples, pilots, and “free with orders” upon request from Sales Representatives via phone or email
  • Convert leads from national and local marketing efforts into contacts within SFDC
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order issues (sales orders, samples, pilots, and free-with-order requests) as needed by Sales Representatives
  • Collaborate with Sales and CSOM leadership to drive process improvements while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with Direct Sales teams
  • Communicate information clearly, quickly, and accurately—both verbally and in writing—tailored to sales teams and customers
  • Manage high-volume workflows by producing multiple applications and proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to policies and procedures

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with experience and understanding of the industry and how educational products are sold and delivered
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to meet service level expectations in fast-paced environments
  • High-speed, accurate data processing skills with strong attention to detail as well as exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable using SFDC or similar tracking tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of internal systems such as Oracle, Product Data Hub, Enterprise Data Warehouse and Sales Force is preferred

The pay range for this position is between $35,720-$45,000 annually. What you’ll be doing:

Rite-Hite assemblers are responsible for the assembling, packaging, and shipping of Engineered Solutions Group products per customer specifications which meet or exceed quality standards. Some of the duties include material handling, assisting order entry with ship dates, part numbers, assisting in maintaining inventory levels and cycle counting as well as selecting, inspecting, packaging and shipping daily orders.

Required Experience:

The Role:

  • Compile, verify, and enter lab result data into corresponding systems. 
  • Provide as-needed coverage at our reception desk
  • Compile and organize data, results, and reports needed for internal and external department use.  This may include but not limited to processing/filing data or paperwork, verifying information and organizing and preparing materials for team members or supervisors to review.
  • Creating spreadsheets, documents, and/or databases.  Developing/revising forms
  • Organize data storage areas, both electronic and physical.
  • Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
Knowledge and Skills:
 
Experience: From three months to one year of similar or related experience. On-the-job training provided!
 
Education: Equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.

Physical Aspects:

Repetitive Motions – Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Environmental Conditions: None – The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
