Your Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer, Assembly for Backhoe Assembly Operations located in Dubuque, IA, you will…

  • Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current assembly operations
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • Establish and maintain layouts, labor standards, methods and sequence of events for assembly operations
  • Support moderate to large scope operations improvement projects

What Skills You Need

  • Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience gained from educational projects, relevant internships, or practical work experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, preventative maintenance, and facilities
  • Experience with engineering tools and systems

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Manufacturing engineering experience supporting assembly operations of similar products
  • Experience leading or supporting complex engineering projects and assignments, including capital projects
  • Experience with Engineering and Manufacturing tools such as AutoCAD, Creo, MPPlanner, AMES, JDAAT, SAP

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Manufacturing discipline or equivalent related work experience
