Director of Operations – OTR Fleet

The Director of Operations oversees the day-to-day functions of the Over-the-Road (OTR) Fleet Operations Team. The Director of Operations collaborates closely with numerous departments, including others in operations, sales, and management to ensure we are providing best-in-class experiences to our drivers and customers ultimately increasing driver retention, revenue production, service, and utilization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creates a positive environment for drivers, customers, and employees to achieve Best in Class Service.
  • Focuses on increasing overall truck and driver utilization.
  • Actively coaches and trains current employees to enhance knowledge of key systems including AS400, Netgraph, PCMiler, ORBCOMM etc.
  • Oversees the daily operations of assigned Driver Leaders.
  • Actively communicates with and serves as an additional layer of support for Drivers.
  • Works closely with safety, maintenance, and operations to ensure drivers and driver leaders comply with the policies and procedures of each department.
  • Ensures appropriate teams have plans of action to increase driver retention and uphold carrier operations.
  • Serves as the main point of contact in maintaining positive customer, driver, and carrier relations.
  • Other duties as assigned including proactively assisting others in achieving the organization’s objectives.

Talent Requirements & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent, paired with relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Three to five years of transportation related experience is required.
  • Previous experience leading a team within a supervisor or manager position is preferred.
  • Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy and energy.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to navigate between multiple programs.
  • Demonstrates an “All In To Win” attitude and displays self-motivation and a strong desire to learn within an unpredictable and demanding environment.

Seasonal Lawncare Person

The Dubuque County Fairgrounds & Event Center is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to handle lawn mowing and basic grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Mow and trim grass in designated areas
  • Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing outdoor spaces
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with lawn mowing equipment preferred
  • Able to work independently and efficiently
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Details:

Maintains related daily care and documents on each resident assigned.

As a Caregiver, you will assist residents with daily living activities with the goal of enhancing each resident’s quality of life. Administer medication reminders and/or medication after completing nurse delegation. Provide showering/bathing and personal hygiene assistance. Get the residents dressed and ready in the morning, evening, and/or as needed. Assists residents with ambulation. Observe and report changes in the residents condition to the Nurse Supervisor. Completes work, and care documentation with accuracy and within a specified time frame. Maintains current knowledge of all applicable resident care policies and procedures.
