Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing including the Frisbee golf course, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking; and related work as required.

JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain baseball/softball fields.
- Drag and chalk fields for adult softball leagues and little league games.
- Communicate with Recreation Supervisor on field and equipment conditions.
- Dispose of trash and waste materials from fields and parking lots.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment.
- Prepare softball and baseball fields.
- Clean bathrooms, facilities and sites.
- Wear provided apparel while on duty.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Maintenance – Knowledge of materials, equipment, tools and techniques of maintenance of baseball/softball facilities, and park ground care needs.
- Manual Dexterity – Ability to hold, move or operate small lawn tractors, walk behind lawnmowers, utility vehicles, grass trimmers and paint machines with your hands.
- Multi-limb Coordination – Using your arms and/or legs together while sitting, standing, or lying down.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Must be 18 years of age.
