Job Summary
The Robotic Welder is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining robotic welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role ensures high-quality welds, maintains safety standards, and supports production efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate robotic welding systems (MIG/TIG/Spot welding as required)
  • Load and unload parts into welding fixtures
  • Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with blueprints
  • Perform minor programming adjustments and troubleshooting on robotic systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate grinding equipment such as angle grinders, pedestal grinders, and belt grinders.
  • Remove gates, risers, fins, and excess metal from castings.
  • Smooth and blend surfaces to meet quality specifications.
  • Inspect castings for surface defects and report issues to supervisors.
  • Follow work orders, blueprints, and production schedules.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
  • Keep work area clean and organized according to 5S standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Floor Work Direction: Lead the allocation of tasks to warehouse staff. Ensure that work is performed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures. Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.

Uses plasma, and/or other conventional cutting torches.

 

Maintain an accurate inventory.
