Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Six months to one year experience with customer relations required
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems required
  • Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience preferred
  • ​Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Work Hours

  • We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) Patient Access Representative to join our Kieler Clinic. Shifts are scheduled between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM and include an every-other-weekend rotation. The biweekly schedule is as follows:Week 1:
    Monday- 6:30 AM- 7:00 PM
    Tuesday- 6:30 AM- 7:00 PM
    Wednesday- 6:30 AM- 7:00 PM

    Week 2:
    Wednesday- (4 hours)
    Thursday- 6:30 AM- 7:00 PM
    Friday- 6:30 AM- 7:00 PM
    Saturday- 7:30 AM- 1:00 PM

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Patient Access Representative are to arrange for efficient and orderly registration of Emergency, Inpatients and Outpatients.  A patient access representative ensures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. These duties will be performed in a “Customer oriented” professional manner

OS&D Coordinator

 The OS&D (Overages, Shortages, Damages) Coordinator is responsible for controlling losses incurred after a cargo/freight-related event, which would otherwise place the organization at risk financially with a customer or in a court of law. The OS&D Coordinator will conduct interviews with drivers and customers to better understand the nature of freight exceptions and work towards a solution in accordance with customer expectations.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday; 8am -5pm

What you will be doing!

  • Take OS&D calls during normal business hours, ensuring the equipment and cargo are secure.
  • Communicating with the Claims Administrator for actual or potential cargo claims.
  • Creating and maintaining claim files for OS&D issues.
  • Entering claim information into the AS400.
  • Working with drivers and customers on OS&D matters that occur during the week, for the handling of exception situations as they occur or on the next business day.
  • Working with the Claims Administrator and Risk Manager to effectively and efficiently handle OS&D situations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Talent Requirements:

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to get detailed information during a time of crisis
  • Ability to effectively prioritize functions continuously
  • Previous industry experience using AS400 is preferred

  • Circulate through hotel, casino, and outdoor areas looking for possible disturbances, illegal activity, or safety hazards and taking appropriate action.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
