PRIMARY PURPOSE:  Actively researches, resolves, and administers escalated inquires for all lines of business, including but not limited to Family Medical Leave (FMLA), complex paid and unpaid state, military, and company-specific leaves, accommodations, disability and statutory claims. Provides excellent customer service displaying care and empathy to callers regarding claims and executes technical and jurisdictional requirements for accurate claims processing, benefit review and interpretation of regulations, financial payment processing, and error correction of complex or high exposure claims.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Makes independent claim determinations, based on the information received, to approve complex claims or make a recommendation to team lead to deny claims based on the requirements.
  • Analyzes and authorizes leave, accommodation, disability, and statutory claims and determines benefits due pursuant to client plans, and state and federal regulations.
  • Enters and adjusts payments and evaluates file interface to support payment research and resolution.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with claimant and client on all aspects of the claims process including claim approval, decision authority level to move the call forward, and issue resolution by phone, written correspondence and/or claims system.
  • Facilitates claim resolution and handles escalated calls with claimant, human resources managers, treating physician’s office, client, or others with a goal of one-call resolution.
  • Ensures claims files are coded correctly and that adequate documentation is in the claim.
  • Reviews and analyzes complex medical information (i.e. diagnostic tests, office notes, operative reports, etc.) to determine if the claimant is disabled as defined by the disability plan and takes all necessary action to manage claims process to completion. 
  • Informs claimants and client of documentation required to process claims, required timeframes, payment information and claims status. 
  • Determines benefits due, makes timely and accurate claims payments/approvals and adjustments for workers compensation, Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), and other disability offsets.
  • Maintains professional client relationships and adheres to client specific requirements such as service level expectations, regulatory requirements, and reporting.
  • Meets the organization’s quality program(s) minimum requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience
Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required to include two (2) years of disability claims experience. Experience with SMART, SIR, GAIN, or other HR systems preferred. Experience with TAMS, Juris, viaOne express, and mySedgwick preferred for internal candidates.

As a housekeeper at MercyOne, you will be responsible for a clean and safe environment within the facility by following routine cleaning procedures. May occasionally take direction from a nursing director or departmental supervisor may give direction on housekeeping needs of that area. Provide cleaning for patient and non-patient areas of the hospital. Services provided include surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and moving equipment and furniture.

  • Maintain clean patient rooms and discharge units to meet hospital standards.  Empties trash and linen containers, high dusts, damp mops, cleans bathroom, cleans/makes bed, damp wipes all horizontal surfaces including clean over-bed table, and checks own work.
  • Maintain clean office/ancillary areas.  Audits are done frequently for Quality Control.
  • Has knowledge of and is able to differentiate between isolations.  Performs special isolation cleaning according to established procedures as required.
  • Maintain a clean cart, equipment, and janitor closet/storage areas. 
  • Replenish supplies of soap, tissues, towels, disposable items and other items as needed.
  • Responsible for reporting the need for repair of equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures to appropriate person.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; every other weekend and holiday rotation.

General Requirements:

  • Previous janitorial and cleaning experience preferred. Some previous experience in hospital standards, methods, and procedures desirable but not mandatory as may be trained on the job.
  • Must be able to become familiar with use and care of housekeeping chemicals and equipment.
  • Must be able to work with and accept varying demands of the patient, public and other employees.

Position Summary

DDI is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations & Data Coordinator to support order processing, product setup, data accuracy, and shipment coordination across multiple brands. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background who enjoys working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams.

The position plays a key role in ensuring information is entered accurately, records are kept clean and consistent, and orders and shipments move smoothly from partners to our warehouse and out to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Data Entry

  • Accurately enter and maintain purchase orders, production orders, and sample requests

Bakery Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our bakery operations through hands-on equipment and facility maintenance. This role involves mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, with a focus on keeping production running smoothly. Experience with electrical maintenance is highly valued, and an electrical license is preferred.

What You’ll Do:
Our Maintenance Technicians perform preventive maintenance, repair work, and troubleshooting for a wide variety of bakery equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You’ll set up machinery for production runs and maintains documentation of work orders and parts inventory. Our team performs building and office maintenance as needed. In addition, you’ll be responsible for:
• Responding to work requests from Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Tech, and other Bakery staff
• Troubleshooting production processes and identifying additional repair work needed
• Performing electrical maintenance and repairs, including diagnosing and fixing wiring, control panels, motors, and other electrical components
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
• Supporting installation and setup of new equipment, including electrical connections

Qualifications

We need an individual who is able to work independently and make decisions with confidence. In addition, we are looking for an individual who is able to prioritize work assignments in a fast paced work environment. Ideally, you will possess skills to operate a forklift and have welding and machining skills.
• Possess a high school education or equivalent or two years training in a technical field, Machine Maintenance preferred
• Strong experience/knowledge of mechanical systems including drive chains, timing belts, gear boxes, bearings and lubrication.
• Experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment
• Electrical license is preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
