The Maquoketa Company is currently hiring and may have the position for you. The Maquoketa Co. is a stable manufacturing facility that opened in 1990 as a subsidiary of Morrison Bros. Co. (est. 1855) to manufacture products used in the petroleum marketing equipment industry, including tank trim for retail service stations, aboveground storage tank equipment, transportation, environmental monitoring, bulk fuel storage, and certain industrial applications for fuel and water systems.
We offer a safe and clean work environment with a competitive wage and benefit package. An Assembly position is available on 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM. Being an Assembler requires the dexterity necessary to assemble, sub-assemble, and test a wide range and size of products. Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly position would be a plus. To be considered you must have a high school diploma or GED, and a solid work history.

Laser operator
A Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser machinery for various applications. Key responsibilities include:
Operating Laser Equipment: Set up, adjust, and calibrate laser machines for cutting, drilling, and engraving materials like metal
Quality Control: Monitor operations to ensure precision and adherence to safety standards, including reading blueprints and mechanical drawings

Driver/Laborer
Responsible for working in a variety of areas. Few local deliveries with also being able to help in shop.
Must be a team player and bring a good attitude.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
Must be able to complete assigned tasks quicky, accurately, and safely.
Welder
Employees are expected to work efficiently and safely with all team members. Must be able to show up on time every day. You should be able to read a blueprint. Lift over 50 lbs. Typical tasks are not limited to your position.
Machine Operation
MACHINE OPERATION

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support our metal manufacturing operations. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to ensure high-quality metal products while meeting safety, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate metal processing machinery such as CNC machines, press brakes, shears, saws, or other fabrication equipment
- Set up machines according to job specifications, blueprints, and work orders
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines
- Accurately measure materials using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Document production data, quality checks, and any issues encountered
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous machine operation experience in a metal or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and job travelers
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities
Administrative and Customer Support
- Transports patients safely to and from the Radiology department while maintaining high standard of care. Uses two patient identifiers when getting and returning patients.
- Safely operates and maintains wheelchairs, carts, Hoyer lift, and slide devices.
- Answers incoming calls, taking adequate messages.
- Faxes or mails reports as requested.
- Burns CDs or pushes images electronically as requested. Appropriately documents Releases of Information.
- Digitizes films as needed and loads outside images into the PACS system.
- Assists Imaging Technologists with obtaining checklists and screening forms.
- Assists Imaging Technologists with patient throughput.
