What Will You Do?

The Mechanical Technicians are individuals with high mechanical aptitude, who are comfortable using hand/power tools and willing to learn and take directions.

Our products are built utilizing an assortment of documents to assemble and construct manufactured commercial and industrial refrigeration products in our production environment. This is a hands-on, in-person position at our Dyersville, IA location that requires engaged employees who are willing to learn and take direction. You will receive day-to-day job training, guidance, and direction from qualified personnel to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with aspects of mechanical piping layout per design documentation on assigned projects.
  • Perform brazing and entry level MIG welding functions per Zero Zone standards with guidance.
  • Complete mechanical inspections working with peers and Quality team to ensure systems are built per design.
  • Assist workers engaged in inspecting and testing activities to ensure continuous control over raw materials and finished products.
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving work problems related to product design layout.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and reinforce the team approach with co-workers.
  • Interact professionally with all departments, vendors, and customers for the betterment of Zero Zone.

What Will You Do?

 

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Insulation Technician determines the required thickness and diameter of the neoprene insulation per project documentation. Configures, measures and cuts insulation to various lengths while utilizing various adhesive materials / methods.  You will receive day-to-day job training, guidance, and direction from qualified personnel to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Utilizes insulation tools, such as tape measures and insulation cutting tools
  • Works with neoprene insulation and adhesives
  • Responsible for maintaining neoprene insulation stock levels

SQF & Food Safety Supervisor

Quality Control Supervisor

We are seeking an Quality Control Supervisor to support food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance efforts within a food manufacturing environment. This is ideal for candidates with experience in SQF, HACCP, FDA regulations, and food safety audits who are looking to grow their career.
This is a direct hire position, offering long-term career stability, hands-on experience, and eligibility for a full benefits package.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and promote a positive food safety culture across the organization
  • Communicate food safety topics and updates to internal teams
  • Participate as an active member of the food safety team
  • Organize meetings and assist with short- and long-term projects
  • Participate in external food safety training opportunities
  • Assist with compliance to the SQF Code for Food Manufacturing
  • Support supplier, service provider, and co-manufacturer compliance
