PROJECT MANAGER

The person in this position reports to Senior Lead Project Manager and plans, coordinates, and manages construction projects from start to finish.  This individual will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.  Will be responsible for managing teams, projects from start to finish,  coordinating with senior leadership while maintaining safety and compliance on-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead for PEMB, greenhouse, or fabric building projects through all phases of construction, including pre-construction, construction, and closeout.
  • Plan and manage construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and senior leadership to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Maintain project scope, schedules, and customer relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Coordinate internal teams (engineering, estimating, and operations) and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage all on-site and off-site construction projects and monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and adjust project plans as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project risks.
  • Negotiate contracts and purchase orders.
  • Mitigate risks and resolve project issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality work within scope, time, and budget.
  • Proficient use of ERP, Procore, and scheduling systems.
  • Abide by all company rules, policies, and regulations. Inform management of any violations.
  • Conduct site visits if needed and monitor field activities to verify project milestones and quality control.
  • Mentor tier 1 project managers as needed.
  • Any and all other responsibilities as given by Senior Lead Project Manager or the Director of Design and Engineering.

Education and/or Experience:                                              

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Building or Construction Management or related field preferred or a combination of experience, education, training.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of construction, materials, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, MS Office, MS Project, Epicor, or other project management software.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.

DESIGN SERVICES DRAFTER II

A successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a broad array of structural and agriculture related products to meet specific customer needs. This position requires a demonstrated proficiency in 3D design software AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks and/or Tekla. This person would be responsible for producing quick and accurate drawings and models and delivering projects on time. Must be able to manage complex projects including researching, designing and/or developing methods and materials which will increase operational efficiency. Position requires strong analytical ability with emphasis on problem solving. Must be able to analyze a problem, recommend a solution and drive the implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in project calls and meetings to understand the needs of a customer
  • Coordinates and consults with engineers to complete projects and produces basic drawings
  • Utilize CAD software tools to create building blueprints including overall layouts and all relevant construction details. 
  • Utilize CAD modeling to develop new components and products, create part and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
  • Understands new part process and templates
  • Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards
  • Develop practical solutions to unique challenges posed by a customer’s requirements

PROCUREMENT BUYER

The individual in this position reports to the Senior Manufacturing Buyer and the VP of Operations and is responsible for implementing optimal logistics processes and material management systems within the department, as well as overseeing the logistic performance of suppliers. This position also provides support services to procurement analysts.

  • Establish agreements with suppliers on appropriate logistics processes.

  • Experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or production planning in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in imported goods.

  • Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by Welding Engineer or Welding Technician.
  • Starts power supply to produce electric current.
  • Strikes (forms) arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from electrode to workpiece and join edges of workpiece.
  • Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.
  • Welds in flat, horizontal or vertical positions.
  • Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
  • Applies filler rod manually to supply weld metal.
  • Cleans or degreases weld joint or workpiece.
  • Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.
  • Prepares broken parts for welding by grooving or scarring surfaces.
  • Chips off excess weld, slag, and splatter.
  • Preheats workpiece with hand torch or heating furnace.
  • Positions and clamps workpieces together or assembles them in jig or fixture.
  • Tacks assemblies together.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

WELD INSPECTOR

The Weld Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing welded joints of work in progress and completed units for defects, correct dimensions, strength, weld penetration and conformance. The Weld Inspector is also responsible for performing welding duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test welded joints of work in progress and completed units for visible defects, correct dimensions, joint strength, bead formation, weld penetration, and conformance with layouts, blueprints, work order specifications, and applicable codes or company policies.
  • Apply knowledge of welding principles and metallurgical properties to detect flaws such as cracks, cold welds, spatter, and undercuts using tools like flashlights or magnifying glasses. This includes inspecting both manual and robotic welding.
  • Verify cleaning, prepping, and painting procedures are followed and meet quality standards.
  • Conduct stress testing on joints using applicable equipment or prepare and review test samples.
  • Verify product alignment and dimensions; set up machines and fixtures for work in progress; complete first article inspections per company policy.
  • Observe welders’ techniques and performance in the weld shop to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Mark defective pieces and recommend appropriate rework or scrapping procedures.
  • Record inspection data and report findings to the Weld Shop Manager.
  • Perform and assist in coordinating weld tests in accordance with the company’s weld certification program.
  • Maintain all required welding certifications: AWS D1.1, CWB S-Class, AWS-TKY, and CWB Certified Weld Supervisor for W47.1.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment according to CWB-recommended parameters.
  • Use a variety of power and hand tools to grind or chip off excess slag or spatter.
  • Use E10 software proficiently to process inspected and completed parts, and follow all company procedures related to data entry and documentation.
  • Share safety responsibility with the departmental manager; ensure all safety rules and procedures are followed. Report any safety concerns.
  • Document and notify the Weld Shop Manager of quality issues, including written descriptions, photos, employee name/number, and recommended repair procedures.
  • Notify the Weld Shop Manager and/or Maintenance of equipment issues, and communicate blueprint or design changes to appropriate departments, always including the Weld Manager in these updates.
  • Report any quality, safety, or production issues to the Weld Manager immediately.
  • Collaborate with the Weld Manager to ensure efficient workflow and achieve goals for quality, volume, and efficiency.
  • Remain flexible with duties; assisting team members in tasks such as tacking, welding, painting, material handling, pipe rolling, etc.
  • Be a team player and role model. Promote a positive work atmosphere focused on cooperation, productivity, and the strategic plan.
  • Assist with employee training and serve as a mentor when directed by management.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized; support others in maintaining shop cleanliness.
  • Understand that Senior Management or the Weld Manager may adjust work hours based on business needs or workflow demands.

Director of Annual Giving & Donor Engagement

Position Summary

The Director of Annual Giving & Donor Engagement leads the organization’s annual fundraising and donor engagement efforts, with primary focus on the annual fund, Captain’s Ball Gala, donor stewardship, and corporate membership and sponsorship programs. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution and serves as a frontline fundraiser managing a portfolio of annual donors and corporate partners.

This position initially encompasses both strategy development and day-to-day implementation, with the opportunity to evolve as the development program grows. Primary duties

Organizational Leadership

  • Serve as a member of the organization’s leadership team responsible for strategic plan creation and execution

  • Write and oversee donor communications from appeals and acknowledgements to newsletters and social media

Captain’s Ball Gala

  • Serve as lead staff for our signature annual fundraising gala
  • Oversee event strategy, sponsorships, auction, vendors, and post-event stewardship
  • Partner with leadership, board, and volunteers to maximize fundraising engagement

Donor Engagement & Stewardship

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 annual donors and prospects
  • Plan and coordinate donor stewardship events (3+ annually)

Sponsorship and Corporate Giving

  • Lead the corporate membership program in partnership with the Membership Manager

  • Ensure timely delivery of sponsorship benefits and recognition
  • Build and maintain corporate partnership pipelines

Collaboration, Planning, and Management

  • Recruit, manage, and providing leadership of the Auxiliary Board
  • Monitor fundraising trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with the VP of Development, CEO, and board on fundraising strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience (non-profit leadership preferred)
  • 4–6 years of progressive fundraising experience, with success in annual giving, donor engagement, sponsorships, or event-based fundraising.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor messaging.
  • Experience with donor databases or CRMs (Altru, Blackbaud, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and collaborative working style.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for donor and fundraising events.

Service Coordinator (Dispatcher)

Managed Solutions Group has an opening for a Full-time Technical Services Coordinator. The Technical Services Coordinator will work cooperatively with the service staff and other members of the team assisting with the delivery of technology-based services and solutions for new and existing customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer service requests as they arrive through email or direct customer input
  • Coordination of IT support groups scheduling service incidents in call tracking system
  • Monitor resource schedules to ensure prompt time entry on service requests and review and correct work orders for accurate accounting of inventory and technician labor hours
  • Work with coworkers to monitor and manage the just-in-time parts and supplies procurement and distribution and manages onsite inventory of key parts and consumable items.
  • Schedule and track preventive maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate and track contracts and schedule service requests with third party vendors
  • Communication with customers keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or delays
  • Analyze data to ensure that performance standards are maintained and customer requirements are consistently met

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous administrative experience is preferred, ideally in a professional business or operations support environment.

  • We are willing to train motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the role.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Requires strong computer skills including knowledge of web-based software platform, networks and MS Office Suite to include proficiency in spreadsheet software and word processing.

Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be detail-oriented with excellent written, communication, customer service, organizational and project management skills.

Must possess excellent telephony and active listening skills

Must be an effective time manager; prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Some physical effort is required and ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requires a valid, restriction-free driver’s license.

Administrative Service Coordinator

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented coordinator to join our team! This role is perfect for someone with administrative or office support experience who enjoys scheduling, communication, and keeping projects on track. No IT background required – we’ll train you on the technical systems you’ll use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle incoming service requests and schedule work for the team
  • Track and update work orders to keep projects accurate and on time
  • Monitor supplies and assist with ordering
  • Keep customers informed on service progress and timelines
  • Support the service team with administrative and coordination tasks

 

EXPERIENCE:

    • Strong administrative/office support experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
