Job Duties:
  • Screens patients/residents based upon identified needs.
  • Performs evaluations for patients/residents based upon the physician referral.

Requirements

  • Requires a diploma or degree form an accredited school of nursing.

  • One to two years’ experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
  • Must have current and valid Registered Nurse License from the State of Wisconsin.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain immediately after hire required.
  • Accurate knowledge of endoscopic/surgical instruments and techniques and knowledge of endoscopic equipment such as the cystoscope and colposcope.

Job Summary

Administers nursing care to designated out-patients in a clinic setting in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and supervision of a licensed physician, physician’s assistant, and/or nurse practitioner. Performs a variety of direct patient care duties in compliance with physicians’ orders and appropriate protocol. Performs a variety of indirect patient care duties under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. Reviews and prepares clinical records prior to clinic dates to ensure referring physicians’ notes and corresponding reports are available for the reference by the specialist.

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
