Kitchen Operator – Nights

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 Follow the order of the schedule and call for batches from the meat room, as required.

 Weigh all ingredients and record weight before batching.

 Record lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient used.

 Kitchen operator is a final check for Q.C and supervisor- must notify Q.C and supervisor of anything unusual; i.e. batch too thick, too thin, off-color, off odor.

 Follow formula guidelines, which are listed, on each batch sheet.

 Record batching information for each batch made on formula kitchen sheets. These include gravy weight, water level, water temp, tri-blender R.P.M.’s final batch weight, fill temps and additives.

 Clean and sanitize entire kitchen during can size changeovers or when notified by Supervisor.

 Follow rinse procedures for cleaning the emulsifier and tanks 1, 2, & 3.

 Regulate the dropping temperature, as required. Follow batch sheet guidelines or Supervisor instructions.

 Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforces actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

 Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons’ established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position’s role in support of these systems – including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

Inventory Control Specialist 

Reports to :  Warehouse and Logistics Manager  

 

 

PURPOSE:  
Under direction of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, this position is responsible for the monitoring and accuracy of all Rite-Hite Warehouse inventory This position will also aid in establishing the Warehouse Ready initiative. 

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
 
Generate cycle count reports, summarizing cycle results by part number, by location and by facility. 

 

This position will have indirect authority to assign personnel to count. 

 

This position will have direct authority to train warehouse personnel, and provide feedback on improvements, as needed. 

 

Entering of all cycle counts and reconciling inventory adjustments with appointed Opco representatives (planners, buyers, supervisors and operations leadership in a timely fashion. 

 

Communicate errors or process breakdowns in real time and coordinate efforts to resolve issues regarding inventory controls or practices. 
 
Propose and implement inventory processes as needed, with accompanied support documentation. 
 
Investigate cycle adjustments that exceed a predetermined tolerance level and report and document any findings to appropriate personnel. 
 
Maintain Stock-Out Report integrity and work with appropriate personnel to reconcile BOM errors. 

 

Work with all OPCO personnel (buyers, planners, supervisors and ops leadership) to establish shelf allocation, replenish quantities and delivery frequencies.   
 
Maintain regular communication with purchasing, planning, engineering and manufacturing to ensure inventory processes are followed and inconsistencies are identified. 
 
Work with appropriate production support personnel to identify reasons for inventory overissues, communicate and coordinate corrections as needed. 
 
Develop and maintain accurate documentation of Warehouse inventory procedures and processes. 
 
Facilitate the engagement of manufacturing personnel, support personnel and engineering personnel in how they affect the overall inventory process. 
 
Perform cycle counts. 
 
Motivate manufacturing personnel by soliciting input in developing inventory benchmarks and goals that are consistent with the company’s strategic plan. 

 

Assist in development and initiation of the warehouse ready initiative.  
 
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
Timeliness and accuracy of cycle counts and inventory practices. 
 
Professional and effective communications with manufacturing, support, engineering and management personnel of inventory processes and/or issues. 
 
Document inventory measurements and processes in accordance with company procedure. 
 
Ability to effectively engage other personnel in understanding inventory and its processes. 
 
Capable of communicating and engaging personnel at various inventory skill levels. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
This individual will need to be proficient in Excel spreadsheet and Word documents Experience in JDE E1 will be helpful.   
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS:  
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 
 
REASONING ABILITY:  
Ability to apply reasoning and troubleshoot processes to identify flaws. Understanding of 5 Why methodology along with other six sigma or process improvement tools preferred. Possess ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. 
 
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS: 
APICS Certification preferred but not required.

Manifestor – Day Shift

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Manifestor keeps track of all incoming and outgoing products and assists in all related functions in record keeping requirements and inventory.

Job Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for performing general sales duties in their assigned department but also assisting in other areas of the store as needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service

BASIC FUNCTION: To perform daily cleaning and minor maintenance duties that help ensure the building is following the District’ mission statement of providing a safe and inclusive environment for students to learn in. To aid students, staff, and visitors in using the building in a healthy and safe manor.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
  2. Unlock and lock buildings and/or rooms as needed to perform work.
  3. Floors — Wet mop using 24 oz. size mop head. Operates scrubbing machines, shampooing machines, carpet rinsing machines, wet/dry vacuum and vacuums 24ΓÇ¥ or larger.
  4. Moves, cleans, and/or conducts minor repairs on building furnishings.
  5. Set up for programs and special events.
  6. Washes ceilings, walls, light fixtures, woodwork, mirrors, cabinets, lockers, shades, and blinds. Replace lighting lamps.
  7. Groundwork- Raises and lowers flag as necessary. Assists in snow removal by operating snow blowers, shovels snow, sands, or salts. Operates grass mowers, trims grass and hedges. Litter cleanup.
  8. Loads and unloads stores, school equipment and supplies. Removes trash and garbage from building to outside waste containers and cleans same.
  9. Loads and unloads hot lunch totes.
  10. Operates and cleans boilers and heating/ventilating equipment, as well as minor repair work.
  11. In buildings with the following facilities the custodian may be responsible for: operation of laundry, cleaning and operation of pool, cleaning, and operation of field watering systems. Marking of athletic fields. The pool work may require passing a CPO certification class.
  12. Responsible for security and fire safety of building. And report all safety and maintenance concerns to supervisors.
  13. Be available for situations such as emergencies and storm damage, vandalism, break-ins, overtime hours for weekend and after school activities.
  14. May be asked to supervise persons in different and other categories in the absence of the Assistant Head Custodian and/or Head Custodian. Temporarily replaces Assistant head Custodian or Head Custodian in his/her absence as may be required.
  15. Performs duties of persons in different and other categories as may be necessary.
  16. Provides sanitation and maintenance of floors including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming scrubbing, and refinishing.
  17. Provides access and equipment to building for parents, permit holders, teachers, and students after school hours according to work shift.
  18. Be an appropriate role model for students.
  19. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Length of Contract: Twelve months;
Hours of Work: Current Schedule is Monday — Friday 2:15pm — 10:45pm for the elementary and middle-schools and 3:00pm — 11:30pm for the high schools. Schedule may be by adjusted by the Manager and/or Assistant Manager of Buildings and Grounds to meet the building and/or district needs.

Hours are typically changed to 7:00am — 3:30pm for 8 weeks during the summer break.

Additional (overtime) hours may be required to fill in for persons not reporting and/or for extra activities in the building after school or on weekends.

Food Service Worker

Sunnycrest Manor is accepting applications for Food Service Workers who performs routine cleaning and dishwashing, assisting cook and other food service workers with set up and delivery of meals. Position will fill in as need as a cook, and will be compensated at a higher wage for hours worked in Cook position.

Examples of Duties

  • Cleans tables and chairs, kitchen utensils and equipment, stoves, refrigeration storage units, freezers, and kitchen area.
  • Clears food trays and dishes from dining area.
  • Assists with minor food preparation.
  • Follow sanitation protocols.
  • Operate standard cooking equipment/prepare food.
  • Aid and assist residents with meal completion.
  • Stock food and dishes daily.
  • Follow HIPPA and County policies to ensure privacy of residents.
  • Sweeps and mops floors and performs general cleaning duties.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
