The Information Technology department at Hospice of Dubuque uses industry-standard IT hardware and software with a heavy emphasis on Cybersecurity. As a healthcare provider, adherence to HIPAA safeguards is essential. Hospice of Dubuque implements that within a Microsoft 365 ecosystem as well as On-Premise Windows servers.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with the administration of all aspects of Microsoft 365, particularly Microsoft Teams within both Windows 11 and a Mobile environment particularly the iPhone. Additionally, a strong background in Windows Server management using Server 2022 and higher versions is required. Some experience with Microsoft Voice (their cloud-based phone system) would be preferred but not required. Some of the technologies a candidate should be proficient in or at least familiar with include: Cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 (Administration, Office Apps and Intune), VMWare/Prox Mox, Firewalls, VPN, Mobile Device Management, Veeam backup, Windows 10/11.

  • Expertise in data warehousing, modern data lake architectures, and large-scale data engineering practices.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, Java, or Node, along with at least 1 year of Unix shell scripting.
  • 5+ years working with cloud environments including OCI, AWS, or Azure with a focus on data technologies.
  • Experience working with financial datasets such as sales, revenue, COGS, and manufacturing, and familiarity with Tableau or Alteryx.
