Bulk Operator – Day Shift

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 Read and accurately interpret batching sheets and other production documents to determine the order and quantity of ingredients. Batching sheets will also contain references to “super-micros” that are pre-weighed by Quality Assurance personnel. These must be added to complete batching requirements.

 Stage ingredients to be batched. Clean totes to contain the batches.

 Write accurately to record production-related data including but not limited to recording lot numbers and supplier for each ingredient on batch sheets, recording batching date code on ingredient tags, recording plan # for which gravy is intended.

 Ensure each ingredient bag is inspected as it is being dumped checking for the condition of the bag, foreign material, grain lumps, off-color, off odor, infestation, or expired materials.

 Perform batching, weighing each ingredient per the card into a tote, labeling tote, and staging tote.

 Ensure the operator stays 15 batches ahead according to the production schedule.

 Conduct general cleaning of the area including maintenance of gravy room, filtration system and dry ingredient area in a clean and orderly fashion. All totes shall be vacuumed or wiped clean prior to batching gravies. Cover unused ingredients to prevent contamination and tape opened bags shut, dating and initialing each one.

 Participates as a member of the Team.  Technical Experience: Machine Operation preferred.

 Industry Experience: Manufacturing or warehouse. Experienced within a manufacturing/process environment with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.

Manifestor – Day Shift

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Manifestor keeps track of all incoming and outgoing products and assists in all related functions in record keeping requirements and inventory.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Scans pallets to accurately capture proper case count, weights and dates.

Documents numbers and codes per pallet. Creates label for pallet.

Ensures all paperwork is completed in accordance with established time frames or record keeping requirements.

Verifies pallets and labels are correct and sent to the right destination.

Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. Constant repetitive motion of the hands; talking; use of vision and hearing. Will work on feet for entire shift in a cold, hot, noisy environment. Stooping, bending, climbing, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds

Minimum Education: Have the ability to read and understand training material and policies. Able to read, write and communicate in English. Basic math skills. Shipping Manifestors may be required to obtain and maintain a palletjack and forklift license.

Preferred Education: High school diploma/GED; or one to three months related experience or training. Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Shipper Receiver – Days

 ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The operator is responsible for storing and retrieving goods in the storage area of the workplace. Rotates stock so oldest materials are used first. Notes and reports any damaged cartons, crates or containers. Records items added or removed from inventory.

Prepares products for shipment by retrieving the designated product and ensuring it is properly loaded and sealed correctly.

Stores product by using an industrial forklift and uses a handheld scan gun/RFGEN for lot tracking to maintain accurate inventory. Working from written or verbal instructions by operating a forklift to pick up, move, load and unload product on, or from trailers while meeting department, facility, company, and regulatory guidelines.

 Performs minor service of equipment and completes written daily safety inspections. Identifies and reports noted problems to supervisor for further inspection and repair.

 Responsible for changing batteries or fuel bottles, refueling forklift or troubleshooting repairs as needed.

 Maintains the work area, dock and equipment in a clean and orderly condition adhere to storage design principles, and recommends improvement.

 Creates product labels for inventory purposes. Reads and understands lot numbers, expiration dates, ingredient lists, and production schedules. Completes various reports daily and enters the required information into the computer program efficiently and timely.

 Responsible for using basic tools such as wrenches, tape measures, scales, air, and water hoses. Consolidates partial pallets as directed by productions supervisor.

 The operator must be able to maneuver forklift in tight spaces while maintaining a safe work zone for other drivers and team members.

Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time, lift up to 75 pounds multiple times daily, work in temperature extremes.

 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety Glasses, Rubber Gloves, Rubber boots, Rubber Apron, Hearing Protection, and any other PPE as required in the appropriate area.

 Technical Experience: Knowledge of Julian calendar, FIFO practices, preferred experience in shipping and receiving, working with large moving equipment. Basic computer literacy. Knowledge of military time, RFGEN and JDE.

 Industry Experience: Shipping and receiving knowledge preferred.

 Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Perform basic math. Must be able to obtain and maintain company issued forklift license. Must be able to read, write and understand English

Utility Packaging – Day Shift

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 Performs various jobs within the warehouse or on the grounds as assigned.

 Responsibilities around the facility can include pallet sorting, restacking, identify product that does not meet customer specifications and rework and sanitation.

  • Schedules are made every six weeks ongoing. Staff are encouraged to select preferred shifts for scheduling. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in nursing required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

IT Technician Tier II

The IT Technician Tier II is responsible for providing prompt and professional assistance to end users across the organization as the first point of contact for technical support and service requests, handling complex issues escalated by Tier I technicians, and contributing to continuous improvement of support processes.

Primary Duties:

  • Ensure that IT hardware and software are functioning properly and are available for the intended uses in accordance with company policy and procedure.

  • Log and track incidents and service requests using ITSM software, maintain history records, and related documentation.

  • Handle incident recognition, research, resolution, and follow-up for user problems coming from the Helpdesk Coordinators, Tier I Technicians, Supervisor, Manager, and/or end user requests; referring more complex problems to Subject Matter Experts.

  • Aid the Server Administrators and Network Administrators in the day-to-day support of the technical infrastructure and notify appropriate IT personnel of any infrastructure outages or problems not immediately resolved.

  • Research and resolve software and hardware configuration issues.

  • Identify and implement IT support documentation and process improvements.

Skills:

  • Ability to diagnose, research, and resolve hardware, software, and network related problems.

  • Familiarity with various hardware products including Windows and Mac computers, and mobile devices.

Physical Demands:

  • Most of the time lifting up to 10 pounds. Often lifting 25 to 50 pounds. Occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) needed.

RELOCATION AVAILABLE!!!

As a Radiation Therapist at MercyOne, you will:

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatment in accordance with physician’s prescription
  • Coordinate care of patient receiving radiation therapy

Schedule

  • 36 hours a week
  • Day shift

General Requirements

  • Graduate of CAHEA approved Radiation Training Program
  • Iowa Permit to Practice as a Radiation Therapist 
  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter
