The Developer Internship will begin in January and end in June or August of 2026.

What YouΓÇÖll Do & Learn

As an IT Developer, you will be part of an agile team and will assist with research and fact-finding to develop and modify a data processing system. You will support the Systems and Programming team with writing and maintaining simpler application programs, generally coding from documented specifications. DevOps, Security and the cloud are an important part of what we do. Also, you will work on limited systems analysis work. In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining existing programs and processes
  • Designing, coding, and testing new programs and processes
  • Installing and maintaining both custom and purchased applications
  • Developing, maintaining and supporting policies and procedures which are intended to protect designed computer programs, data bases and data files from unauthorized or accidental duplication, modification or destruction.

What it Takes

We are currently looking for highly driven students pursing a degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math or related fields with excellent communication skills, both oral and written form. Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of common programming language. In addition, we are looking for:

  • At least Junior Senior standing, recent graduates may be considered
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher
  • Knowledge of C#, Java, SQL, VB.Net or COBOL is desired
  • Experience with relational databases, Cloud experience and DevOps knowledge helpful
  • Application Debugging experience
  • Amazon Web Services ΓÇ£AWSΓÇ¥ is helpful
  • Ability to prioritize workload

What YouΓÇÖll Do & Learn:

You will first spend time learning the Bakery processes and equipment to ensure high safety, quality, and performance are maintained. You may then evolve to learning the software system to accurately track and record our inventory to ensure all ingredients, components, materials, work in-process, and finished products are accounted for to ensure accurate Lot, Track and Trace (LTT). You may eventually oversee an area in production to gain people leadership experience by creating staffing schedules, coordinating and communicating work, ensuring accurate labor scans are performed, recording data, and driving safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork improvements to accomplish the needs of the manufacturing facility. In addition, youΓÇÖll be responsible for:

  • Monitoring, running, and performing basic troubleshooting on equipment
  • Accurately recording inventory and production transactions to ensure reliable Lot, Track, and Trace
  • Coordinating and utilizing staffing, tools, and equipment so approved products are manufactured within safety, quality, scheduling, and cost standards

What It Takes:

We are seeking someone with strong communication skills who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally you will be pursuing a Bachelor’ or Associate degree in Production/Operations Management, Engineering, or a related major. In addition, Internship Applicants must:

  • Be a Junior or Senior in college, recent graduates may be considered
  • Have a 2.8 cumulative GPA or higher
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office and Windows applications
  • Above average organizational skills
  • Be able to make decisions independently

Position Summary:

Reporting the to the Vice President for Student Engagement and Services, the Director of Athletics provides the vision and leadership for all elements of intercollegiate athletics and recreational programs; that includes 24 sport programs, 45 professional coaches and staff, and 28 graduate assistants. The director of athletics will develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that address student engagement and development, personnel development, financial management, facility management, alumni and community relations, and compliance and regulatory expectations in a manner consistent with the Mission of the University of Dubuque, the athletic conferences associated with UD, and the NCAA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that a holistic approach to intercollegiate athletics and recreational programming is implemented and assessed, and supports the strategic plan, mission, and student success commitment of the university
  • Demonstrate a deep commitment to diversity, belonging, and hospitality, through oversight of programming that allows teaching and learning on campus, that promotes collaboration across UD communities, and facilitates comprehensive opportunities and resources that meet the needs of UD students, faculty and staff
  • Strategically manage the fiscal, physical, and human resources in the areas of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation
  • Enhance partnerships with campus and community constituents

  • Package and load product for shipment.
