You’ll Be:

  • Answering loan related member questions via phone and email.
  • Processing member service requests from branches (title releases, title changes, mortgage releases, etc.).
  • Consulting with members for closing and explain all documentation.
  • Processing and funding consumer loan products (auto loan, personal loan, VISA, etc.).
  • Auditing files to ensure that all loan documentation is accurate and complete and are in compliance with existing regulations, including Dupaco Community Credit Union loan policies and procedures.
  • Articulating loan payoff quotes for auto loans, unsecured loans and home equity loans.
  • Cross trained on the Paid Loan Reports and send letters and applicable paperwork to members.
  • Providing proper explanations to members on ancillary products and refer members to the appropriate products and services.
  • Assisting in training employees on loan processing procedures and technology.

You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (ie. GED)
  • Two years of college or equivalent experience in the financial industry preferred

As a housekeeper at MercyOne, you will be responsible for a clean and safe environment within the facility by following routine cleaning procedures. May occasionally take direction from a nursing director or departmental supervisor may give direction on housekeeping needs of that area. Provide cleaning for patient and non-patient areas of the hospital. Services provided include surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and moving equipment and furniture.

  • Maintain clean patient rooms and discharge units to meet hospital standards.  Empties trash and linen containers, high dusts, damp mops, cleans bathroom, cleans/makes bed, damp wipes all horizontal surfaces including clean over-bed table, and checks own work.
  • Maintain clean office/ancillary areas.  Audits are done frequently for Quality Control.
  • Has knowledge of and is able to differentiate between isolations.  Performs special isolation cleaning according to established procedures as required.
  • Maintain a clean cart, equipment, and janitor closet/storage areas. 
  • Replenish supplies of soap, tissues, towels, disposable items and other items as needed.
  • Responsible for reporting the need for repair of equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures to appropriate person.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; every other weekend and holiday rotation.

General Requirements:

  • Previous janitorial and cleaning experience preferred. Some previous experience in hospital standards, methods, and procedures desirable but not mandatory as may be trained on the job.
  • Must be able to become familiar with use and care of housekeeping chemicals and equipment.

Provides charge entry, insurance expertise, registration, and customer service to assist the laboratory department and patient and/or client through the revenue cycle for hospital and outreach accounts.   

  • Maintains functional knowledge of charge entry, CPT, and ICD-10 changes, coding practices, and insurance terminology.  
  • Enters daily department charges, credit or add charges.   
  • Monitors reports  and work queues for appropriate charging, coding/modifiers, transferring charges, correcting charges, reconciling charges, following up on delinquent reports, and problem solving with staff. 
  • Verifies that the diagnosis codes and corresponding laboratory tests meet the medical necessity criteria to assure claims are paid on the first submission Work with ordering personnel, including physician’s office staff, to resolve any discrepancies and provide education. 
  • Responsible for updating patient registrations as needed by utilizing hospital and laboratory policies and procedures. 
  • Keeps abreast of insurance carrier rules and changes by participating in carrier specific education opportunities and email notifications. 
  • Meets charge posting deadlines and timely reviews/resolves accounts holding for review/additional information/correction.  
  • Works proficiently in EPIC and XIFIN’s system to manage work queues supporting timely claims processing, client or patient billing.

  • Serves as a patient advocate in promoting clarity and understanding to efficiently and courteously answer client phone calls regarding billing, pricing and CPT codes.  
  • Provides recommendations to optimize revenues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

 

  • Adheres to the principles of caring and expected behaviors outlined in MercyOne Medical Center’s Model of Caring and Trinity Health’s Code of Conduct, fostering a climate where all customers are treated in a manner consistent with MercyOne’s Mission and Values. 

  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior. 

  • Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed. 

  • Receives and routes incoming telephone calls by operating the SPOK Console quickly and efficiently per established protocol.

  • Performs page requests and initiates security calls by operating the hospital public address system, Motorola pagers, and security radio.   

  • Announces all emergency codes via public address system, i.e., STAT calls, ALL CODES, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or outside agency personnel for quick response. Monitors all alarm panels including emergency data computer and fire panel and printer and notifies appropriate personnel when an alarm is activated in a timely manner. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • High school diploma or GED required. Degree from higher level education degree that requires a high school diploma or GED as a pre-requisite is also permitted 

  •  

  • Previous experience in direct customer relations/communications center preferred. 

  •  

  • Experience within Microsoft O365 (M365 Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams, Edge) and Internet.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

A Respiratory Therapist performs patient assessment, evaluation for appropriate therapy, administration of therapy, consultation with other health care providers, diagnostic testing, implementation and troubleshooting of equipment and monitoring of patient. These services are provided as appropriate for patient age to include neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric adult.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs inhaled medication therapy, arterial puncture, blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, helium-oxygen therapy, carbon dioxide-oxygen therapy, nitric oxide-oxygen therapy, CPAP therapy, BIPAP therapy, bland aerosol therapy, PEP therapy, high-frequency oscillator therapy, and ventilatory support modalities as ordered by physician.
  • Participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, assists or performs intubation, manages artificial airway, and transport of patients requiring ventilatory support.
  • Assembles, manipulates, and troubleshoots Respiratory Care equipment including mechanical ventilators, pulse oximeters, capnometers, aerosol generators, medical gas delivery systems, humidification systems, and mechanical percussors.
  • Interprets diagnostic results for feasibility and reports results, to include blood or other body fluid analysis by blood gas analyzer and co-oximeter, pulmonary function screening, pulmonary mechanics studies, end-tidal C02, and pulse oximetry.
  • Performs record keeping, billing and medical record documentation functions.
  • Provides patient instruction in the use of Respiratory Care devices and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certificate of completion from an accredited Respiratory Care Program by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP).
  • Credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • State of Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
