  • Teaches behavioral skills and protects patients from harm and self-abuse.

Minimum Qualifications

Possess Certified Nursing Assistant certification.

Set-Up Staff’s priority will be to complete room set-up/strike activity for all client related events. Responsibilities

  • Set/strike rooms with equipment (tables, chairs, staging, bleachers, risers, dance floor, pipe & drape, etc.) according to pre-determined floor plans for events in an efficient, timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Set/strike to include the manual movement of equipment throughout the facility from storage areas to event spaces and back to storage.
  • Set/strike to include the removal of refuse, cleaning of floors & equipment, etc. to provide a clean event space before, during, and after an event.
  • Review work assignments and Building Equipment Orders (BEO) with the  Operations Manager.
  • Maintain department equipment as necessary, both operationally and in a neat and orderly manner for storage.
  • Assign tasks and supervise Temporary staff when needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients.
  • Operate an assortment of equipment including: forklift, buffer/burnisher, rider sweeper/scrubber, walk behind scrubber, blower, vacuum, pressure washer and others as needed.

Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Nursing Department Management Staff.

Supervision is exercised over certified nursing assistants, restorative nursing assistants, nursing assistant transporters, ward clerks, certified medication aides, and program instructors.

Examples of Duties

  • Reviews prior shift records, reviews treatment and medication instructions.
  • Assigns and supervises the work of nursing assistants and others on an assigned shift involving the plan of care of residents; instructs subordinates on procedures and techniques for the routine care of residents.
  • Personally administers medications; giving injections, catherizations, inserts nasogastric tubes; changes dressings, checks blood pressure; and provides other nursing services as indicated.
  • Documents condition, development, and treatment in patient records.

Forklift Operator – Day Shift

To transfer products using an industrial forklift, hand lift or pallet jack in a manner which complies with safety procedures, company and USDA requirements.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES  

Stores and moves product using an industrial forklift, hand lift or pallet jack. Operates an electronic or hand operated pallet jack between departments, buildings, and grounds. Collects and delivers a wide variety of materials while adhering to established safety procedures. 

Delivers materials to work areas as directed from production supervisor, stacks materials in storage areas and loads/unloads shipments in trailer. Ensures product or equipment being moved is undamaged and handled in a safe manner. 

Performs routine servicing of equipment such as changing batteries, charging batteries, and checks tires. Responsible for identifying any mechanical problems or damage with the pallet jack and ensure the problems are reported to the supervisor for further inspection and repair.  

Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.  Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Performs visual safety inspection of machine before operation.

Loads and unloads trucks, stacking and consolidating partial pallets.

Assists with inventory, correctly recording numbers and codes.

Keeps dock area clear and organized to ensure efficient work flow.

Completes and delivers daily and weekly reports to the floor supervisor.

Shipper Receiver – Days

 ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The operator is responsible for storing and retrieving goods in the storage area of the workplace. Rotates stock so oldest materials are used first. Notes and reports any damaged cartons, crates or containers. Records items added or removed from inventory.

Prepares products for shipment by retrieving the designated product and ensuring it is properly loaded and sealed correctly.

Stores product by using an industrial forklift and uses a handheld scan gun/RFGEN for lot tracking to maintain accurate inventory. Working from written or verbal instructions by operating a forklift to pick up, move, load and unload product on, or from trailers while meeting department, facility, company, and regulatory guidelines.

 Performs minor service of equipment and completes written daily safety inspections. Identifies and reports noted problems to supervisor for further inspection and repair.

 Responsible for changing batteries or fuel bottles, refueling forklift or troubleshooting repairs as needed.

 Maintains the work area, dock and equipment in a clean and orderly condition adhere to storage design principles, and recommends improvement.

 Creates product labels for inventory purposes. Reads and understands lot numbers, expiration dates, ingredient lists, and production schedules. Completes various reports daily and enters the required information into the computer program efficiently and timely.

 Responsible for using basic tools such as wrenches, tape measures, scales, air, and water hoses. Consolidates partial pallets as directed by productions supervisor.

 The operator must be able to maneuver forklift in tight spaces while maintaining a safe work zone for other drivers and team members.

 Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings.  Technical Experience: Knowledge of Julian calendar, FIFO practices, preferred experience in shipping and receiving, working with large moving equipment. Basic computer literacy. Knowledge of military time, RFGEN and JDE.
