  • We are seeking a casual (fill in as needed) Food Service Worker to work evenings.

Job Summary

Portions food and fluids for the patients, cafeteria guests, vending machine patrons, and special function guests.  Serves patients in the patient room. Prepares a variety of food items for the vending machines. Cleans and sanitizes dishes, service areas, pots/pans and floors daily. Provides the appropriate food (therapeutic and texture modified) for each patient on the meal tray.

  1. Completes the food portioning for patients, residents, cafeteria and/or vending program patrons, and special function guests.
  2. Maintains sanitary and safe food practices during the food preparation and service functions.
  3. Takes orders and communicates basic information regarding the food service program to new residents/patients.
  4. Cleans and sanitizes dishes, cooking equipment, service areas within the department and in the dining room/cafeteria/vending area.
  5. Cleans and sanitizes the entire department – floors, walls, ceilings, and equipment, empties the garbage and recyclables frequently during the day.
  6. Attends meetings and in-services programs as directed, or as needed, and may include attendance at continuing education meetings.
  7. Assists with training new employees in the department.
  8. Maintains clean work environment by cleaning and sanitizing work areas, sweeping and mopping floors, and throwing out garbage.
  9. Adheres to Southwest Health’s value-based behavior standards.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one to two years’ food preparation experience, preferably in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with standard kitchen equipment including steamers, steam table, robot coupe, ovens, dish machines, slicers, etc. required
  • Food prep experience including main dishes, side dishes, salads, desserts, and special function foods required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Record and Food Purveyor Software preferred
  • Certification with the State of Wisconsin for food protection policies and Food Manager Certification preferred
    • If not certified, must be willing to complete upon hire

Work Hours

We are seeking a full-time Cook (average 36 hours per week) to work a rotating schedule: 5 days one week and 4 days the next. This position includes an every third weekend and holiday rotation. Weekday shifts are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Weekend shifts vary between 5:00 AM and 7:30 PM.

Marketing & Consumer Insights Intern

The marketing & consumer insights intern is responsible for assisting the team to provide relevant and impactful support in consumer insights research projects. Qualified candidates will have a strong understanding of marketing research & consumer research as it relates to segmentation, marketing messaging, and product development. Evening Supervisor – Charles C. Myers Library

The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking an Evening Supervisor for the Charles C. Myers Library.

Position Summary:

The Evening Supervisor provides frontline support for library users by offering research assistance at the reference desk and supervising student workers at the circulation desk during evening hours. This part-time position plays a key role in maintaining a welcoming and service-oriented environment during the library’s evening operations. The Evening Supervisor ensures that public services run smoothly, helps users access library resources, and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the library’s services. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide research and information assistance at the reference desk during evening hours

Responsibilities

  • Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
  • Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to banquet guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers.

  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
  • Perform month/year end close functions
  • Perform assigned bank reconciliations

  • File and pay client payroll and sales taxes timely and accurately

Obstetrics-Gynecologist Physician

TITLE: Obstetrician-Gynecology Physician (OB-GYN)
DEPARTMENT: Grant Regional Community Clinic
POSITION STATUS/HOURS: Full-time, salaried/exempt, benefit eligible position; Clinic is open Monday-Wednesday 7 am – 7 pm and Thursday & Friday, 7 am – 5 pm. Position will be part of the regular c-section rotation.

JOB SUMMARY:
The OBGYN Physician will provide comprehensive primary and urgent care to a diverse female patient population in accordance with appropriate Wisconsin statutes and Federal regulations. The OBGYN will also perform routine obstetric and gynecological office procedures and surgeries.
The OBGYN Physician will:
• Elicit a personal medical history; performs an appropriate physical examination and records pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Provide care for expecting mothers through delivery and post-partum.
• Diagnosing and treating conditions such as infertility, pregnancy complications, and gynecological cancers.
• Perform surgeries such as childbirth, hysterectomies, D&Cs, c-sections, and tubal ligations.
• Provide routine office based obstetric and gynecological procedures.
• Provide counseling on contraception, family planning, and sexual health.
• Provide health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Perform evaluation and treatment procedures necessary to ensure appropriate response to life-threatening emergency situations.
• Facilitate referral of patients to other appropriate community healthcare facilities, agencies and resources.
• Write prescriptions for medications, according to state regulation and practice protocol
• Participate in continuing personal education.
• Conform to appropriate infection control policies when in contact with patients, blood and body fluids (i.e. practice good Universal Precautions)
• Responsible for documenting patient info in electronic medical record (EPIC)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.). Current licensed Physician in the State of Wisconsin (M.D. or D.O.). Completed residency training in OB-GYN at an ACGME accredited school. Applicants must also have a current DEA license or be eligible to apply. Prior experience is preferred including experience with medical records. EPIC experience a plus. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Ability to multi-task and problem solve. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required.
