Director of Admissions and Recruitment

The Director of Admissions and Recruitment leads a team of Admission Representatives who play a pivotal role in shaping the student body at NICC and is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to attract and enroll a diverse student population. This role ensures a superior level of student service while also assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment and enrollment within an integrated enrollment model.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience leading multiple initiatives, projects, and diverse teams. The Director of Admissions and Recruitment will demonstrate inclusive and positive leadership, professionalism, and strong written and verbal communication skills while building a solid, cohesive team.
Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in education, program supervision, and/or community relations strongly preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire admissions staff to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service. Demonstrated knowledge of admissions processes, enrollment management strategies, and best practices in student recruitment. Experience using data analysis and technology tools to inform decision-making and improve recruitment outcomes. Flexibility to work outside regular office hours as needed for events and outreach activities.

Coordinate recruitment efforts within and outside the NICC district, collaborating with the Executive Director of Enrollment Management to develop and manage an annual recruitment plan for the College. Facilitate engagement and routine outreach to prospective students including high school students, adults, military affiliated, athletes, international, underrepresented audiences, and other targeted groups. Lead the coordination of campus visit planning and logistics for prospective students, providing event management guidance to the recruitment team. Supervise and evaluate the performance of the admissions representative team. Prepare annual recruitment goals and monitor progress toward the goal. Collaborate with faculty and academic deans to stay aware of program demand and current market needs.

Assist in developing and implementing the college’s marketing plan, including communication strategies for various market segments addressing prospective and returning students, program, and enrollment needs. Manage and stay current with the SEVIS system and admissions of international students, coordinating the I-20 process. Develop, implement, and adjust admissions and recruitment practices based on trends and current student demographics, incorporating technical innovations when possible. Provide input into the Strategic Enrollment Management Plan and execute initiatives related to recruitment. Lead and develop marketing project plans and requests associated with district recruitment and events. Manage the admissions budget and make recommendations to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management. Oversee the management of admissions waitlists for career and technical programs. Collaborate with the Director of College and Career Connection to establish consistent and effective Career Advising techniques, focusing on career advising and managing undecided inquiries and applicants. Serve as a key leader of the Student Services Director team to provide integrated, coordinated, and comprehensive student support services that effectively support student success. Participate in professional development and training to enhance skills.

Student Services Assistant – Financial Aid

This position will be a primary contact for financial aid, providing information on the financial aid process to students, parents, faculty and staff. Working in a fast-paced, high-energy, one stop Student Services Office that provides comprehensive admissions, financial aid, career services, counseling, records and registration services to new and continuing students with a high-level of accuracy and exceptional customer service. Utilize strong problem solving and communication skills to assist students with a wide range of enrollment services questions.

Minimum of one year of post-secondary education in Administrative Assistant area with one year of relevant work experience or two years of related post-secondary education.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Supports in-person and virtual student services with a strong focus on customer service, accuracy, and quick response time for students, parents, community members, and staff.

Communicates and corresponds with new and continuing students to provide guidance and resolve situations or challenges related to admissions, financial aid, career services, counseling, records, and registration.

Schedules and organizes appointments for a large staff team across the NICC district with accuracy and efficiency.

Assists students directly with navigating web resources (Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Master Promissory Note, Loan Entrance Counseling, Student eForms, etc.) to complete the financial aid process from initial application to final award.

Inform students and families of the availability of federal, state and institutional financial aid and the eligibility requirements.

Provide administrative support for financial aid processing in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as, institutional policies.

Responsible for electronically processing incoming paperwork and performing regular follow-up via email, text or phone calls.

Enters and maintains student-related information in a variety of customer/student management software tools and other related systems including, but not limited to, GSuite, Ellucian Colleague (Student Information System), SoftDocs (Electronic Files and Forms), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Handles confidential or sensitive information with discretion and in accordance with student privacy policies.

Assist with student outreach efforts.

Work independently to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload and recommend changes in office practices or procedures to improve efficiency.

Schedule, organize, and complete special projects, as needed, for members of the department.
Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Display proficiency in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and safeguarding confidential information within a complex environment. Technology proficiency using various software applications, specifically, Microsoft and GSuite. Ellucian Colleague experience is extremely beneficial. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and competent proofreading skills. Must possess strong knowledge of office practices and procedures. Work effectively with a diverse student, staff and community population.

Inventory Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure efficient stock control processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Track and manage physical inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory checks.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Update inventory databases (ERP/WMS systems) with accurate stock information.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to manage stock movements.
  • Maintain organized and safe storage of inventory items.
  • Verify and complete daily production work ticket transactions

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or stockroom environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or WMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good math and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items, and work in a warehouse setting if required.
  • Experience with barcode scanners and inventory tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices (FIFO, LIFO, cycle counting).
  • Forklift certification.
  • Familiarity with Lean or 5S principles is a plus.
  • Combination of office and warehouse environment.
  • Standing, lifting, or moving inventory items may be required.
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary during inventory counts or peak periods.

Site Supervisor – Before and After School Program

This position is a Site Supervisor Position located at Carver Elementary School. May require additional hours and/or the flexibility to work at the Early Learning Center on non-school days.

Candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday every week.

Hours are 6:30-8:30AM (9:30 on Fridays) and 3:00-6:00pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the assigned Before & After School Program
  • Supervise site staff through delegation, encouragement, coaching & correction
  • Create activity plans for each week and submit them to the Program Coordinator on time
  • Develop and implement plans for activities, making sure the site staff have clear direction
  • Prepare for daily activities before children arrive
  • Interact appropriately with the children, establishing and maintaining appropriate boundaries
  • Engage children in structured, age appropriate activities, operating with the best interest of the child in mind and ensure site staff do the same
  • Establish a positive relationship with each child’s parent/guardian, school staff and co-workers maintaining good communication
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents, children, and school staff
  • Follow and enforce program and organization policies as well as licensing standards
  • Enter attendance data in to the software provided accurately and on time
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have some direct childcare experience and basic knowledge of children and child development. A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience preferred
  • Must receive a negative Criminal Records Check Report
  • Must provide a physical report with a negative TB test
  • Must either be certified or can be certified in CPR/First Aid, Universal Precautions and Bloodborne Pathogens. Training in Mandatory Child Abuse provided.

Semi route delivery driver- home every night

Applicant must be able to read and write English.  Applicant must possess a Class A CDL and clean driving record.  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.   Hours are defined and follow a consistent schedule that may include weekend and/or holidays.

The successful candidate will conduct a pre-trip inspection of truck/trailer combination.    Deliveries may include boxes, cases or 80 gallon carts.  Dock or hoist deliveries will depend on the route.   All paperwork must be completed and returned at the end of the route.
